Cops do not write tickets to people going 5 MPH over the limit. Cops write tickets tickets to those who are in double digits over the speed limit and are drawing attention to themselves by weaving in and out of lanes.

True story.

I was pinched this summer for 28 over. I saw the cop, knew I was caught and pulled over before he pulled out of his hiding spot. He gave me a 9 over ticket because he did not have to chase me down. In North Dakota a 9 over ticket is $10.

I just got a speeding ticket going 5 over (haven't gotten one in about 4 years ) but I still have 10 days left in my packet .... Im in Utah

Last time I checked your not guilty until proven guilty you postpone that ticket for 6 months you don't have you never had a ticket not until you go and take care of it thank you plead no contest and its no ticket and you just paying court fees have a nice day and keep on truckin
