Amazon warehouses

Yes here Amazon uses us, USPS, Fedex, Ontrac, and is using some subcontractors (Werner etc) to ship what should be more than 30 of our sleeper team operations across the Country. Oh you wanted to get into Feeders from Package? Sorry, UPS set them up to drop ship with subcontractors instead.

Amazon now makes the traffic reports every morning as Amazon 6 now has a 1 1/4 mile backup during rush hour.

This warehouse 2750 w encanto - Google Maps south of our Phoenix building was full of 53 footers we use for CPU's packed like sardines last Wednesday. Now it's less than half full.

Amazon is why there should be a sales tax on all Internet purchases, regardless of what state you live in or whether they have a brick and mortar in that state.

Actually, Amazon supports an Internet Sales Tax because they are expanding so much with physical warehouses in so many states. A lot of their internet buddies are p.o.ed at them for that.

I believe that there should be sales tax charged on internet sales, from vendors above a certain size.

It's more accurate to say they are "not opposed" to a National sales tax but seeing as that has failed to gain traction in Congress, lawsuits are expensive (and they lost in NY for example), they have been negotiating with individual States.
We should move away from sales taxes period since they are regressive. Oregon gets along just fine without one.

5% sales tax plus income tax here in Wisconsin. Thankfully we are mostly a high wage union state.
