A lot of the Arizona schools are out this week and I am finally seeing tourists up here in Red Rock Country. I am happy to see people from the midwest and northeast here as well.

We are pushing 80 degree temps here and in Phoenix - 90s!! You gotta luv spring!

Gee Lifer, ya think tourist season is upon us..........................still? LOL It is in full swing. It was so bad at Montezuma Castle NM the other day, I thought I was going to have to get out of the truck and fist fight for my parking spot. LOL JK. But their season is in full swing. The parking lot was SRO I'm glad I got there before that tour bus and not after.:surprised: I love getting there just before a tour bus, I make them wait.

The bad thing about our area is that it is pretty much tourist season all year long. We never really get a break from it.

My daughter and her bf went up to Stratton to ski.

Remember, they both work at a ski area, guess they really like to ski. I think I feel better with them there, than going to Aruba or somewhere...

I noticed a big difference after being gone a month! January is probably the slowest month of the year.

As much as the tourists are a pain in the ***** because of their unconscious way they drive and take pictures I am so happy they are spending their money here. Every business I see going under makes me sad.

As you know... we get to know the people. They are not just "a business" they are our neighbors and friends. Without tourists little pieces of our community continue to die.

God Bless the tourists and get out there during Spring Break and see the USA!

I know what you mean.

We have had a few businesses close here. One of my favorite customers is gone. It's hard to think of how the people that lose there jobs and lively hoods are going to survive. I heard the other day that one of the CV businesses might close because they lost a contract with Boeing. I have a friend that works there and have not yet been able to verify the rumor.

I'm on vacation this week but my wife has to work, so today I went to the range to "play". I picked up a new "toy" this morning....a Taurus PT 111 9mm....so I had to go put it thru its paces. I love vacation.:happy-very:

We are taking the kids up to wisconsin to hit the water parks next week. Should be fun with 3 kids all running around water, nothing to worry about!!!

Why do i have a feeling that i cant wait to go back to work?

I do the same thing with my hammerless revolver...the longer, heavier double-action trigger pull causes the barrel to aim a bit down and to the right since I am right handed. As long as the group is tight and I know where it hits, no big deal.

Agreed no biggy. Any grouping that tight would cause a lot of leaking on a bad guy if needed.
