They have the number of ballots cast otherwise they wouldn't have a percentage. The system they used could have been set to display the number along with the percentage. Probably feared the turnout was too low and it would look bad.

The tirnotu was very low for the last contract. But in the other hand, the people who voted for the strike will be the same ones that vote on the contract.

You are probably right. And the same people who for on the strike vote are probably the same ones that are going to vote on the contract.
I think a lot of people vote because of raise and money as well. We'll see what the turnout will be. One good thing about getting the electronic vote out of the way is it gets people trained on the process. Hopefully it lessons the process of people understanding the newer process.
