(Newsmax) — Republicans are attacking President Barack Obama for acting like a “king that is above the law” in deciding to pick and choose which illegal aliens to deport.
“The Obama administration cannot get its amnesty schemes through Congress, so now it has resorted to implementing its plans via executive fiat,” said Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.
“We need to remind President Obama that we elected a president that serves beneath the law and did not anoint a king that is above the law.”
Joining her criticisms were two other border-state Republicans, Reps. Michael McCaul and Lamar Smith of Texas.
“It’s just the latest attempt by this president to bypass the intended legislative process when he does not get his way,” McCaul said.
Smith said, “The Obama administration should enforce immigration laws, not look for ways to ignore them.”
And Florida Rep. Allen West jumped into the fray, too, calling for a House investigation into the guidelines. In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, he accused Obama of “shredding the Constitution” with the new guidelines. “It is a form of amnesty and it does go against our Constitution and it very much concerns me because now we are rewarding people for an illegal activity,” he said.
“Think about the strain that is going to come on the types of services and things that we have to provide,” West added, saying aliens are getting a free pass.

C) America should build jails and put illegals in them to rot?

D) America should place illegals in labor camps forever?

What does this purport to mean other than the previously mentioned countries were doing it "right" and we are doing it wrong.

Why is our form of democracy wrong compared to the communist, socialist or fascist countries according to your email??

This kind of email is exactly the distortion rhetoric used by the right wing to keep its people "programmed". If you are an american, and you believe in freedom and democracy as a whole, then you would reject EVERY ONE OF the suggestions made in the email on how other countries handle illegal immigration.

The United States of America has been a place for all peoples. That's why they want to come here. Nobody wants to sneak into North Korea for a better life, nobody wants to sneak into IRAN for a better life, nobody wants to sneak into china for a better life, nobody wants to sneak into afghanistan for a better life, nobody wants to sneak into ANY other country for a better life.

Only America has that attraction.

Inexcusable Cruelty in Acapulco
5 Decapitated Bodies Found in Acapulco

ACAPULCO — Mexican authorities say two decapitated and scalped bodies were left outside a Sam’s Club store in Acapulco and three headless corpses were found on the main tourist strip in the resort city.
Guerrero state police say in a statement that the bodies discovered outside the Sam’s Club were cut into more than 20 pieces.
The skin on their faces and scalps had been removed and left in a woman’s purse at the scene.

The state police said the three other decapitated bodies were found Saturday in a car parked on the boulevard Miguel Aleman near a gas station 200 meters from the Sam’s Club
One of the victims was a woman. The heads have not been located.

Nearly two dozen Acapulco gas stations closed temporarily Friday in protest of escalating violence.

Nayarit: Nine men executed on roadway.


Nine execution-style murder victims were found this morning at approximately 5:00AM on the Tepic-Aguamilpa road.
The bound and blindfolded bodies all exhibited multiple gunshot wounds and several bore signs of heavy torture.
Sugar cane workers from the nearby community of Mora witnessed the shootings. According to the witnesses two Ford Lobo (friend-150) pickups stopped at the site where armed men took the victims from the vehicles and shot them in groups of three.
Three other victims have already been executed this month on the same roadway.

Another often used site for the display of executions in Nayarit is the Los Lobos bridge on the Tepic-Mazatlan highway, used by the XXX or Gente Nueva from the Sinaloa cartel to display their victims.

The victims are usually hung from the railing or in an extremely disturbing manner are displayed as "narco-pozole", where the victims are dismembered and left in large tin buckets with vegetable garnish and tortillas to simulate a meal of pozole, a stew of hominy and pork.

Several victims are left each month and incredibly no sicarios have yet to be detained, even with the presence of security cameras at the site.

Giraldo is caught — unjustly, he says — by a federal program aimed at serious criminals and security risks
Early in the morning last June 4, William Giraldo stopped at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Sunset Park for a coffee. Two days later, standing next to his fiancé, the 24-year-old car-service driver saw himself on the local newscast. It was a 20-second grainy video clip of Giraldo at the cash register of Dunkin’ Donuts, wearing a white t-shirt and white earphones.
Initially, he and his fiancée Sandra Alvarado, laughed at the sight of him on television. But after realizing that the New York Police Department was looking for him as the suspect in an attempted rape near the donut shop, Giraldo began to panic. While he was the man in the surveillance video, he had not committed the crime.
Yet as the result of coming forward voluntarily, the father of two now faces deportation — not for the crime but for his status as an illegal immigrant. He is due in court next month where a judge will make the decision whether he stays with his family in Brooklyn or returns back to Colombia.
“I did not do anything wrong,” said Giraldo.

The Arizona Republic The Department of Homeland Security continues to spend millions of dollars flying illegal immigrants caught along the Arizona border back to Mexico each summer even though government officials and humanitarian groups question whether the program is effective or worth the cost.
The agency has spent more than $85 million over the past eight years to transport Mexican illegal immigrants far beyond the border in a humanitarian effort aimed at saving lives by deterring migrants from making another dangerous border crossing.
But it has no real way to gauge the value of the program.
Though the department defends its repatriation flights, officials chose not to act on recommendations by government auditors to measure whether the program is effective.
Both DHS and Mexican officials insist it works. They say that flying thousands of apprehended migrants 1,100 miles into Mexico instead of simply dropping them off at the border makes the migrants less likely to hook up again with human smugglers and try to cross through Arizona’s rugged, remote desert, where over the years hundreds of migrants have died in the brutal summer heat.

Border Patrol agents shoot at rock throwers

BROWNSVILLE — Border Patrol agents shot at suspected drug smugglers who pelted them with rocks from the Mexican side of the Rio Grande, authorities said Friday.One agent was struck in the back of the head during the incident Wednesday night near Havana, about 12 miles west of Mission.
The agent, part of a team of boat patrol agents called to help thwart an attempt to smuggle marijuana, was treated at an area hospital and released.
Border Patrol spokesman Henry Mendiola said he did not know how many shots were fired or whether anyone on the Mexican side was hit. He said the FBI was investigating.
Federal and state officials have asserted that agents and assisting police units are ready to respond with force when attacked. On June 9, Texas Rangers, state game wardens, and Border Patrol agents fired some 300 rounds in response to a smattering of gunshots from across the river.

Ex-Mexico President Suggests Truce With Drug Cartels


Mexico City – Former President Vicente Fox suggested Friday that Mexican authorities consider calling on drug cartels for a truce and offering them amnesty, speaking out a day after an apparent cartel attack on a casino killed 52 people.
Fox, who served from 2000 to 2006, has since advocated legalizing drugs as a way to reduce violence. At least 35,000 and as many as 40,000 people have died since President Felipe Calderon launched an offensive against the cartels in late 2006.
“I want to start a public debate on the following ideas … call on the violent groups for a truce” and “evaluate the advisability of an amnesty law,” Fox said in a speech at an anti-crime event.

Expert: Drug Gangs Control Half of Mexico

MEXICO CITY – Violent crime has become a problem of national security in Mexico, where half of the territory is outside of state control and “we’re in the hands of the narcos,” an intelligence expert and author of a new book on Mexico’s public safety woes, said.
Jorge Carrillo Olea, founder of Mexico’s leading intelligence center, said the “state has lost territorial control, and therefore governability,” over roughly 50 percent of the country.
The government has been incapable of fully enforcing the law and ensuring justice is upheld, said Carrillo, who spoke to Efe while in Mexico City to promote his new book, “Mexico en riesgo; una vision personal sobre un Estado a la defensive” (Mexico at Risk: A Personal Vision of a State on the Defensive), published this year by Grijalbo.

Carlos Fuentes asserts that Mexico needs the assistance of an international police force to defeat the drug cartels.

Hours before accepting a literary prize Saturday night in Spain, Carlos Fuentes, one of Mexico's most accomplished writers, spoke decisively about the country's crisis of violence and drug trafficking.

"They should decriminalize drugs and get help from the Israeli, French or German police forces who have proven effective in combating crime," he said.

The 82 year old Mexican writer, and social and political activist, acknowledged that he was stunned by the horrific "narco" attack at the Casino Royale in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, that killed 53 people.

"Unless steps are taken to legalize drugs in coordination with the United States, which is the biggest drug market, and unless more effective internal police actions are forthcoming, the drug cartels will defeat the Mexican Army and the country's unarmed society," argued Fuentes.

The writer, along with former presidents of Mexico, Colombia and Brazil, Ernesto Zedillo, Carlos Gaviria and Fernando Cardoso, is part of a group working for a culture without drugs and favors the legalization "in principle, of their consumption."

"Drugs are a universal problem, not local, and we cannot argue about Mexican sovereignty because it has already been broken. So why not then appeal to the most effective police groups to assist in dealing with these gangs that only understand the language of violence?"
