I tried going without it & using s post emergent as needed, so i could overseed in spring. Mistake. Now i use Dimension.


Winning! Dimension is a great pre-m! Especially for its post emerg benefit
I also always recommend milorganite for the iron

Post emergents I had to use about 3 times and was fighting weeds all Summer. I always try to use pre but sometimes I didn't have the time or the weather was bad and missed the window.

Usually sand. Salt eats up the concrete. Cheap cat litter works also.
