I thought it an interesting collaboration of right leaning corporations and left leaning academia/legal in order to build the rationale to limit the individual.

This is a guy who had the truly good fortune of being able to attend a private high school attend one of the nation's most prestigious private "old money" universities but still has the audacity to gripe about the poor condition roads and the water main breaks.
Now is this guy going to hop on a paver in 100 degree heat and lay down hot asphalt? Is he going to jump down in that ditch and fix that water main or even worse raw sewage break? Oh, hell no. Somebody else who's had it a lot harder in life is supposed to do that.
