We've all heard the saying in the story,,,, but this comes from a book written in the 1840's. The saying is a little out of touch lol (yes my ADD is acting up).... I was just wondering what a 2010 translation might be? Got the idea from all of the people on the roads and in the stores that seemed to always be in a bad mood

hehe... I thought that was a thumbs up sign.... you are correct though, one finger was used
