Trying to keep everybody under 9.5 cost them big time
They went from one exteext to another. We have been running too lean on routes for a long time. Then when Christmas comes we don't have enough qualified drivers or equipment.

So did we. But we also had about 28-30 extra routes in this peak. I'm sure someone doing the calculations in a dark room somewhere will have an algorithm to show how this was no good and didn't work. Should have actually gone down 20 routes to make money.
They need a better plan.

Definitely. I think all anyone wants is a middle ground but this company seems so insistent on trying every other possible way first.
