Becoming a PT Supervisor Questions

What are the benefits of being a pt sup over a pt package handler?

I can't think of any. You will essentially be a mall cop. No authority. No respect. Low pay. But you get to wear a collared shirt.

From what I heard, they get paid a lot more than we do. And considering that I don't plan to be here for a long time, this is just a temporary thing, that would be worth it for me. I certainly can't see myself being one of the long time union guys who stay for a decade or two.

If you are finishing college and not planning on staying a UPS, it might look good on a job resume. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend it.

KING Of GIFS
1) How much does it pay?

2) What are the hours like?

3) Do they get OT for anything over 5 hours?

4) Why does everyone hate them so much? I know some of them are kinda :censored2:y, and there have been a lot of petty tyrants, but why the automatic hatred?

5) How long does it usually take?

6) Why does nobody want to do that job?

Anything else I should know would be much appreciated! And as usual, smartass comments are not only welcome, but encouraged! - Though, I am obviously seeking actualy answers too lol.

Because everybody will hate you
