Is this what Fox News is telling you? If you looked at the indictment it tells a different story. They've been working on this for three years. This is all they have. Perks not reported as income. But hope springs eternal!

Judging by the 15 count indictment this would appear to be a case of willful tax fraud. The highest level of tax fraud there currently is and carries with it some of the stiffest penalties.Cases like this only end up with fines from the IRS. Probably never been a criminal case under similar circumstances.
This is all they could come up with after years of fishing expeditions. I wonder why no Democrats were similarly targeted.

I don't condone what Cosby was convicted of doing. There were simply too many women who alleged the same thing. At the same time there was a clear cut agreement not to use his deposition against him going forward. Will he try to sue the prosecutors? Stay tuned.I think most people agree with that but his prosecution was even a bigger POS!
A lot of ham sandwiches is what Allan W. could find himself making in a federal prison cafeteria. What he is and is not willing to do as proceedings go forward will depend on the strengths of the prosecution's evidence in the days leading up to the trial.a lot of ham sandwiches
That's not how the Manhattan DA sees it. BTW Allan Weisselberg is 74 and the alleged illegal activity goes back 15 years. And crying on the shoulders of conservatives in an effort to sway public opinion and gain public sympathy might not be very successful come April 15 when every other American with a tax liability has to pay up . Especially for those who are subject to withholding . Furthermore as the company CFO Weisselberg is going to have a hard time pleading ignorance of the law because he is essentially the company's treasurer and top accountant. Yes, he might find a way to get off. At the same time how ever the DA is willing to bet his career and the resources of his office on having a strong enough case to put it all on the line.
Yah, they just came up with this. The DA ran on the campaign promise that she would go after Trump. You can obfuscate all you want, no charges were filed against Trump. Is this what Fox News is telling you? If you looked at the indictment it tells a different story.
You don't even know the DA is a woman. "Crimes" of the sort that Weisselberg is charged with usually don't go to trial and are resolved with fines. And probably most corporations have these perks for their brass. If this is the worst they can come up with when you were so certain Trump would be charged with multiple felonies then it's no different than when Schiff was saying he had seen the documents that proved Russian collusion but couldn't come up with them after Mueller's team couldn't find anything after 2 years. That's not how the Manhattan DA sees it. Yes, I know that the DA is a woman and a respected prosecutor. And once again you keep trying to downplay and minimize the seriousness of the charges. The only person you're comforting is yourself. You don't even know the DA is a woman. "Crimes" of the sort that Weisselberg is charged with usually don't go to trial and are resolved with fines. Wrong again. Trump wasn't charged like you said he would be. And you referred to the DA as a male.Yes, I know that the DA is a woman and a respected prosecutor. And once again you keep trying to downplay and minimize the seriousness of the charges. The only person you're comforting is yourself.
Nice spin. This particular case will likely be pushed to the back burner for the time being now that the Trump Organization has been indicted on what prosecutors describe as a willful tax fraud scheme going back at least 15 years Allan W. says he'll fight the charges it court..... but doesn't say how long he'll fight them if early on it becomes clear that he's losing.
It would appear that you didn't read the grand jury indictment where it described the matter as a "scheme" as well as "systemic" and going back at least 15 years. For ordinary people the IRS can only go back 3 years . But, armed with a court order on the basis of suspected willful tax fraud that can go much farther back as you see in this case 15 years.Wrong again. Trump wasn't charged like you said he would be. And you referred to the DA as a male.
Oh boy you've got him this time!It would appear that you didn't read the grand jury indictment where it described the matter as a "scheme" as well as "systemic" and going back at least 15 years. This is already well past the fines, back taxes and interest alone.
Will Trump become involved later on? Not if Weisselberg his subordinates and others closely tied to the matter keep their mouths shut and refuse to rat him out..... along with Trump keeping his mouth shut and not throw them under the bus.
Oh, so the fact that nobody's above the law is in your opinion "unamerican"? You radical right wingers have reached the point that you believe that your Dear Leader and other far right radicals are indeed above the law.Oh boy you've got him this time!
SMH, you radical left wingers love these kind of political witch hunts. You're all very unamerican.

Politico already reported the Manhattan DA said there will be no charges against Trump. So we'll see.It would appear that you didn't read the grand jury indictment where it described the matter as a "scheme" as well as "systemic" and going back at least 15 years. Weaponizing the legal system and crooked courts to go after your political opponents is very common in authoritarian countries.Oh, so the fact that nobody's above the law is in your opinion "unamerican"?
