Black Friday Hazmat Auditor Pay

Right? My god it was just a simple question that I needed help in looking for answers to. I’ve asked everyone I can think of at my facility and the answers were everywhere. Was just looking for more definitive answers lol.

I think in most places hazmat auditors are union. They were in both buildings I worked out of.

No one here is gonna know that. I would assume you'd be paid the same way as a PT sup. Maybe @TearsInRain knows?

They are not the union here in a company make sure that you don't want to be

They pay them about $5 an hour extra over a regular part-time employees

We only have two here, they tried to organize them years ago but the company always paid them more than the regular hourlies

My understanding is all the pay questions he's asking apply to him the same as any other hourly as he isn't a sup

The hazmat auditors I've known have all been union, though the high value clerks have been admin assistants too, presumably so they could be fired at will for big HV screwups

acceptance auditors and designated responders should get more money.....I am surprised the new teamster contract didnt address that.....add in fork-lift and bulk/irregular/train drivers as well........missed opportunities I would say....
