Boonsboro man struck and killed by tractor-trailer on I-81 - Herald Mail
A 22-year-old Boonsboro man was struck and killed Tuesday morning when he apparently walked in front of a tractor-trailer on northbound Interstate 81 at Halfway Boulevard, Maryland State Police said in a news release.
Police said the man, identified as Anthony Allen McChesney, was struck by a United Parcel Service tractor-trailer.
The tractor-trailer driver, David Brian Burkey, 48, of Enola, Pa., stopped immediately after the collision, police said. Burkey was not injured, according to police.
