As authorities said Kinnunen's motive remained under investigation, the church's senior minister, Britt Farmer, told The Christian Chronicle he recognized the 43-year-old after seeing a photo of him without the disguise.

“We’ve helped him on several occasions with food,” Farmer told the Chronicle. “He gets mad when we won’t give him cash. He’s been here on multiple occasions.”

Thanks for posting the link to the article. After reading it, there is one resounding thing, and that is several people including former LEOs saw the suspect enter the church wearing the long coat, wig, and fake beard.

Why was this guy not even approached? One of the security members says that the only way to prevent an incident like this is to search the congregation which they were not willing to do.

Ok, don't search, but at least address something that is beyond ordinary like a guy wearing a fake beard, wig, and trench coat. I'd rather piss someone off and lose a member by asking what's up with the costume than losing a member because a shooter put two massive holes in their chests.
