I know our local has fought hard to keep them around and not have them reduced. Always assumed they were in every building, didn’t think it was as rare as it is.

They weren't supposed to be reduced but happened anyway. We only had a couple of 22.2's also and they were highly prized by drivers trying to make it to retirement.

Yep those jobs were perfect for guys trying to get their last few years, and I always get a laugh when people ask do you think the company will buy us out, no they plan to push us out.

Never lifting more than a beer.

It all depends. Your knees are high wear items. Shrug.

I learned the hard way to use a dolly and don't carry any pkg more than a couple of pounds....especially up and down the steps.

The job destroys the knees. I don’t know anybody in management with rebuilt knees unless they were long time drivers .
