Your projecting, you double down on your distain for blue collar working people. Because you envy them for not being empty and vapid as you are.
My disdain is for today's "selective conservatism". People singing the praises of unbridled free and unobstructed capitalism but demand protections from it such as labor unions that provide wage and workplace protections or things like consumer protection laws, banking laws, financial protection laws, utility rate laws, internet privacy laws, food safety laws etc. etc.
These are all things you would never see in an open and unbridled capitalist economy. Not my fault that you people never bothered to actually take moment to think about what you would NOT have in that totally capitalist system.

And he pretends many service providers are not college educated lol. 35-40% of drivers I work with have higher education. He’s clueless about the opportunity that many UPS Teamsters had the foresight to grasp.
Of course. Why would they not want to work thanks to a closed union shop in a completely artificial pay rate system that in no way shape or form is based on the going open market pay for that type of labor.....But to your credit you've never tried to deny that fact.

Exactly. Unbridled capitalism does not allow for the creation of a labor union. The creation of labor unions was entirely due to the need to reign in unbridled capitalism. The horror stories surrounding Carnegie, Ford, Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Morgan and the coal barons like Dixon, Collins, Scranton, etc.....The labor unions created the middle class....but it was legislation that created the unions.

When have we ever had unbridled capitalism? The point is capitalism and free markets, create wealth. Strong unions can step in and force these corporations to share the wealth, Never once said legislation doesn’t help. But it is a double edge sword, and can also hurt.

No it wasn't.
Facts matter.
The Wagner Act afforded unions legal standing nationwide including the right to organize and the right to collective bargaining. Prior to Wagner unions had a smaller, far less powerful presence in the American labor scene. And given it's weaker presence these days without Wagner labor unions would for the most part be pretty much nonexistent.

Congratulations to the workers at Volkswagen for voting in a union!
By a 3-1 margin. But, be on the lookout for what Volkswagen Group decides to do next. Given VW's market share in the states only about 10% VW publicly tossed around the idea of pulling the VW brand out of the US and focusing on the bigger margin brands Audi and Porsche.
Car market not what it once was 2 years ago.

Gosh if socialism is such an evil in your opinion then why haven't you refused to apply for SOCIAL Security and that evil national old age SOCIALIZED healthcare system called Medicare?

The one thing I hear out of MAGA's all the time is how evil publicly funded social programs are because they are well, socialism and it's the other guy collecting benefits who is undeserving of them but the benefits they themselves are collecting under the same programs the same legislation and the same eligibility requirements....well, those are perfectly fine. In their opinion not a thing the matter with them because they are the ones drawing the benefits.
