Saw this at the beach a couple weeks ago,wife thinks we should get one.I also like the Cam Am Spider
Between the two, I'd rather have the Spyder. I feel like after a while, the Slingshot wouldn't feel a whole lot different than driving a stripped down car. I could be wrong, just my thoughts.

They way I like to ride is probably best suited to some kind of sport tourer (my favorite probably being the BMW R1200RT) but I just can't quit the the stripped down, retro style bikes.

Those things do look cool but mostly over priced toys.
I could see them filling a niche for people who for some reason don't want to or are physically unable to operate a two-wheeled motorcycle. They are still going to be much more fun and efficient than any car and still provide that free, open air experience you get from a bike.
