Don't they already have some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country? And yes, I know the guns come from out of state.
In pro gun States like Texas there's actually overall less gun violence than in restrictive States like Illinois. When people know others can defend themselves they tend to be more cautious and respectful.

As Archie Bunker once said, would you be happier if they were all pushed out of windows? The thing is when cities do put in methods that work and save lives, like stop-and-frisk in New York, liberals cry racism. You can't have it both ways. And where all these shootings take place are in Democrat controlled cities. How about protecting decent hard working people and stop coddling criminals?
