The irony of you using other peoples song lyrics, to make your point,
makes me laugh.
A Jersey boy playing a Willie Nelson song to me makes me laugh even harder.
I was a sound man in the early 70's.
Willie had not yet broke out into the public scene and was playing joints on the North side of Houston.
Willie wore almost a crew cut then, rough redneck joint.
Only two people in the place had long hair, me and Willie's bass player.
To the point, I have written many original pieces, but they were never meant to be put to music.
