To all asking about paid leave or how it works. This thread is for you.

UPS and the Union Negotiated emergency paid leave. Feel free to visit this website. UPS Enterprise Portal Log In to read about it.

Also here is the memorandum of understanding (MOU) that the union has put out.

If you are a Teamster and you miss work for sick, layoff, injury, disability, fmla... then call you local dues office and ask for "SICK" dues. You local union will pay your dues. You get six months Sick dues to use. If you know you wont be working, pay like $5 to temporarily withdraw until you are getting paychecks again.

Yes but if you go on upsers it doesn't say anything about the pay for only 1 and 2 that's added language that screws us

Yes I've read it. How is that different than the MOU?

It says "eligibility for two week paid leave includes"

Meaning only the people that meet these are eligible. Different words same meaning.

No it doesn't exclude people who are quarantined but no positive test

Read #1 very carefully on the MOU. Look for the word "or"
