The economy is rough?
Are you serious?
Lowest unemployment rate in years.
Problem is too many Socialist Millenials don't actually want to work.
They want a job posting selfies on Social Media.
yea newsflash:

america doesnt manufacture anymore

finance has grown

alot of manufacturing jobs are automated

wages havent gone up in 40 years

and reagan and clinton tampered with unemployment measurements

I don't know.
I felt bad but I did tell my sup that something was wrong with him. They ended up taking him into the office and then sending him home.
I mean he was completely :censored2:ed up hallucinating about things that weren't even there and just totally incapable of performing his job, which was eventually going to come back on me. His voice sounded completely different it was like he was a different person. If he gets fired he'll be screwed b/c he is older and is kind of a burn out with a lot of health problems. UPS health insurance has already saved his life once.
I'm not paid enough to be someone's mom at this place. There's so much political BS at UPS that I'm sure I've stumbled into some kind of quagmire by doing this though.
BZZZZZZ WRONG

you tell him to go home, tell your other workers to tell him that, and tell the union

you dont talk to cops because they just want to fill prisons and get tax revenue, and you dont talk to management because they are already :censored2:ed and just want to fire higher paying workers and replace them with lower paying ones.

It's a moral dilemma.

On one hand, you don't want to rat out your fellow Union worker.

But.... what happens if he (or someone else) is seriously injured because of

his impairment ? It's a bad spot to be in.

ZZZZZZ WRONG

The intoxicated coworker has one shot to head back outside and sleep it off in his car if me and/or coworkers suggest he to so. If that doesn't work for him, its gotta go another way.

I'd have a hard time living with somebody having been hurt or killed as a result of my not having said anything. And I'd also rather see a coworker fired than see them take a dive off a catwalk or be crushed by a feeder trailer.

My support for fellow Union members doesn't extend to covering for on the job intoxication. I won't put others at risk.

weve got all kinds of blood on our hands. what do you think our governments are doing around the world?

lets not kid ourselves.

OrionsBitch

Not...
Talk to the employee and tell him he shouldn't be doing that. Especially if he is driving. Say he should go own up and tell management and try to put his best foot forward. Chances are they will work with him and get him help etc. But I would feel obligation to say something. He could kill someone if he's out driving and I wouldn't want that on my conscience.

If it’s brown, it’s going down
Approach the coworker and tell him your concerns. Then explain to him that you will need to notify a union steward, not management of his actions. Going to management will cause more issues with you and fellow coworkers in your area. Better to not crap on the guys you will need during peak.

Maybe. But our work environments are something we have immediate influence/control over and direct exposure to. So making sure they're not unnecessarily unsafe still seems like a worthy endeavor to me.

The need to protect co-workers and the general public from being injured or killed by a drunk outweighs the need for union solidarity.
If you report to work intoxicated, you deserve to get fired.

As a Socialist you aren't happy unless everyone is miserable.
So you spread falsehoods to further your agenda.
The economy is booming.
Unemployment is at historically low levels.
Wages are up mostly do to State and Citie Governments meddling with minimum wages.

So I say again you are wrong

Why are you here if you got fired?

Why do you choose to follow an ideology that hasn't succeeded anywhere?
The main product of Socialism is Misery.
