Disappointed New Driver: "Is this the norm"?

No one hurt me today. I'm not crying. Everything I wrote is true. The regular drivers are the ones who complain.

We know what it's like to do the same job for half the pay, It's called progression. We also voted down the contract mostly because of the 22.4 language. No one forced you to take a 22.4 position. The position wouldn't exist if no one took it. If you don't like what you're doing now, try working 7 years as a part timer, waiting just to get a shot to go driving.

I agree about the position. But the regular drivers didn't have a lower payscale progression. At least you got to be an rpcd after 7 years though. 22.4 position was all that was advertised as open. But I do understand no one is making me do it though.

If you're still a 22.4 in 7 years, get back to us.
