He’s pretty good at talkin like a slick politician without wanting to upset either side lol

O'Brien and Trump do have a lot of similarities, both of them where brought up to inherit positions of power. They both followed piss poor leadership (Hoffa and Biden) who are cut from the same cloth (mentality). The corrupt power systems used them as puppets, Hoffa Jr used his last name and Biden was bought out decades ago. I said this before but Trump is probably the only (Independent) POTUS since Teddy Roosevelt, he is not a true Republican or Democrat...forget about his personality and see where he is going with these tariffs and peace talks.

Who is going to run against O'Brien...?... are they same old Hoffa Clowns that want to return to the Good Old Days of corruption and greed ? O'Brien is a shoe in, TDU is and has been neutered by their own naivety. . They are a non factor in the next election and future ones.

I really have issues with the DOL and similar federal agencies that have been giving the green light to eliminate the blue collar working class. They are huge bureaucracies that are usually run by weak leadership and corporate lobbyists, major reforms are needed. Anyone that argues that Harris would of been better are brain dead, O'Brien's secret endorsement of Trump at the Republican convention after the assassination attempt sealed the deal...face it Sean is going to lead our Union till he dies or turns senile much like Hoffa did...

Not surprisingly, no tariffs on Russia.
The funny part about the tariffs is that when Sean "Son of a Bitch" O'Brien went on that Tucker Carlson interview he was talking about how the "bread and butter" of the election was the cost of living. Mean while the person he buddied up with is driving up prices with his flip flop tariff bull:censored2:. All so the rich can buy up stock at a discounted rate. Teamsters are obviously blind enough to support someone working against there own interest, I wouldn't be surprised if Sean O'Brien got voted in again even with all the bull:censored2: going on at JewP$.

It's been 15 years now, but my point is that when allowed, history repeats itself;

....and that's what I see coming from these tariffs.

You can't put "a wall" around the US economy 45+ years after the deck was shuffled.
It's not a wall, rather we just want the other side to play with a new, fair deck. The old deck is stacked against us. For decades, we've been allowing them to insert a better hand to our disadvantage.

Do you think that even if it works that money will ever end up back on the dinner table or your account to pay your mortgage?

We have the richest country in the world lol its not “stacked against us”
Ok. So high tariffs other countries against America goods is ok with you? Most regular working folk would disagree.

Seems some here are perfectly fine with China's pre 2025-84 percent tax on American goods? Now 125 percent because our President wants fair trade. 84-125 seems percent tax on us seems fair to them.

Also being told the market value doesn’t matter by most in his camp. I guess only time will tell. Personally, I think we could’ve implemented better trade policies against China with the help of our allies, instead of alienating the whole world.
He was using the DOGE approach.

Unfortunately we never learn from history

I don’t believe they knew anything. Who could’ve ever thought that the strategy of the company would be to lose as much business as possible and be uncompetitive so they could close buildings and implement AI and automation more and more. those things will certainly be at the forefront at the next contract. We might have quite a fight on our hands.
Everything the company has done post contract is designed to eliminate the union. With the current political climate the next contract should not be a fight. I'll take a modest raise and vote yes. Would love better 9.5 language, but that fight was the last contract and all the idiots cared about was a/c in a vehicle that is turned off between stops.
