If something is wrong I also write it up manually. After the mechanic ignored my write up I did another adding that I’d cc’d the senior manager. Suddenly, he had a new found interest in repairing it.

That’s weird. Mine used to go to the manager to cry about how people keep writing things up after they sign off on them and don’t fix them.

Gotta say our mechanic is pretty good. if he can't fix something ASAP, he will come to us and explain why. Many times, it's because it's a part he's not allowed to keep in stock anymore.
