McConnell indicated the newly-elected Alabama senator would not be seated before the end of the year when asked about the timeline Tuesday.
“Sen. Strange is going to be here through the end of this session,” McConnell told reporters referencing Luther Strange, who was appointed by the Alabama Governor to occupy the seat following Sessions’ departure.

No one expects Mitch McConnell to respect the voice of the people. He's a terrible person and will do anything for power. Why let the duly elected senator into the senate when you can disregard the election and keep the one appointed by the governor that was chased out of office for a sex scandal? There are still questions as to if Strange got the seat by promising disgraced former Governor Bentley favors from the state's AG office.

There is no delay, the delay in seating him is being manufactured by McConnel so he can pass a horrible regressive tax cut for his donors. The people have spoken and republicans don't care, they just want to loot the treasury.

Where are you getting lost sugar? The tax scam has been talked about for weeks. The people of Ala-freakin-bama voted for a democrat in part because of that scam. McConnel wants to disregard that vote so he can pay back his donors.
