My parents would have sat down with me and lay it all out

1. You got kicked off the bus

2. You have to go to school

3. Now what are you going to do?

Me: looks like I’m walking

4. You better be on time or you will have another problem.

I like that. Teaches you consequences and also problem solving.

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
I was so proud when my sweet, meek daughter got suspended the last day of 6th grade for punching a bully on the bus. Let me know I wouldn’t have to worry about her being a pushover. Lol.
An old lady at lowes told me today told me it's so refreshing to see a dad not let his daughter walk all over him.

This is a hard one for me. Because I feel bullying is blown way up now days.

5th grade boys are gonna wrestle they're gonna fight. It's no different than puppies biting and clawing at each other or a chicken trying to figure out where it belongs in the pecking order.
My brother was bullied.

He could now buy the entire town we grew up in if he gave a crap about it.

Pecking order indeed.

I’m on the other side.

I gave my son permission to “take things into his own hands”.

He looked at me like I was crazy and said, “I’m not gonna be ineligible for soccer over that!” So I asked him if he wanted me to take it to the principal. He said, “Nah. I’ll do it.”

Imagine how surprised I was when he actually did and got everything resolved!

Overall I don’t have a problem with the son having to run.

I do think the father should run with the son. Healthy is good for old and young.

I would have him push me to school in my rollator.

There is very much a natural social pecking order.

The strong do not let it define them like your brother. The weak on the other hand.

We were actually talking about this problem the other day.

Kids aren't allowed to take things into their own hands anymore. You can fight 30 miles away from school and they are gonna say you set it up at school so you're suspended.

When kids were allowed to throw a few blows they did that instead of shooting up schools
