Feeder breakdowns

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
I’ve seen 3 feeder trucks being towed this week. Is the company being cheap catching up to them?

Not a good time of year for breakdowns.

Were they "tractor only" or were there trailers being towed also?

Sometimes the company will use tow trucks to move tractor only" around to different centers/hubs.

Yes they are. When you're running equipment with some over the million mile mark you're going to have breakdowns. Hell some of our newer equipment with 500,000 miles constantly break down.

No red tags this time of year and all the junk pulled out of mothballs.

Duct tape and tie wire tio keep them on the road.

Some don't make it 200 miles.

We just replaced I would say 95% of our junk tractors with brand new KWs and Freightliners. We probably only have 5 junk tractors left. Worst tractor in the fleet are a few Sterlings and a few 272 macks. 6 months ago we probably still had 35 Sterlings.
