What he says. One of the best pieces of advice I ever got from an old timer, was, no matter what, never raise your voice to them. I thought he was nuts. That's how I always communicated with management. But he was right.

It's amazing how it worked. Its almost like they didn't know to deal with it. Most of them manage by fear and intimidation. And when they see that doesn't work, they usually move on. And the real hot heads always want to lock horns with people, and normally lose their cool when someone won't yell back. That's when you gain the upper hand.
