Stream and lake trout. Small and large mouth bass. Change out or light test work for both? Also I was pricing flies and what is a median price? Streams I'm under canopy but lake I'm fishing in direct sunlight working the reeds. I could(will) be losing flies. Got any ideas? Should have around $150 left of $500 after rod and reel.

I'd check locally at a fly shop near where your fishing

Ask'em what are they biting on they'll be glad to hook you up

I caught 1 trout on a fly rod one time. Could only roll cast because streams in Pa. are very narrow. We would catch small brookies on meal worms and very small hooks in mountain pools

. Gave it all up for surf casting.
