Shyt they have a 6-3 Supreme Court, the senate is tilted towards republicans, the electoral college is tilted towards republicans. In order for democrats to win control they have to get 5-6 points more than republicans. Like democrats can’t win 51% to 49% and retain control of government.
The Republican Party is extremely radical on policy no longer dedicated to a representative government and are trying to over turn an election they lost in Pennsylvania right now. Plus Mitch ain’t hurting at all. Dude is rich as friend, incredibly powerful, and will go into the private sector and make even more money if he retires.

It is a testament to the work of a lot of people that GA elected Biden and two New Democratic senators in a state with complete republican control in the state’s political leadership. It is also a testament to the insane republican strategy of telling their voters the elections are rigged. GA is a gimme state for republicans. It would be like trump winning the state of Illinois and Illinois electing two republican senators.

Demographics in GA are changing. Blue states are run so badly that many of their residents are moving to Red states, bringing their politics with them.
