Global warming

It will be fine

It's hilarious that people think we can overpower the sun, the main force on climate. You can put 1,300,000 earths inside that fire ball but we who are merely a spec of dust in the universe can overpower it. What peanut brains.
Is this a joke? Better to be thought a fool and remain silent then to speak and remove all doubt.

WE have cut our emissions greatly over the last 40+ years.
But now India, China, and others are the new polluters , how are WE going to stop them ?
It would be nice if we could adopt old technology first. Maybe start with high speed mass transit. Places like France, China, and Japan can do it and we just fall on our stupid faces.

It's not that we can't do it, it's that Americans don't like taking trains or that the locked destinations aren't very convenient. Plus, even if we do it, it's only somewhat practical in the most populated areas. Our country is set up a lot different than those across the pond.

I’ve been to one of those countries. The transit system is over priced compared to just flying or busses. It’s quicker and the views were nice. But you are talking about over a hundred dollars a ticket for round trips.

Mass transit is not wanted by the citizenry ... and of course you and your ilk know better than the voters.

The problem is when you get off the mass transit you have to walk a ways. The fat asses in this country won't or can't do that.

You’re out of your mind. If they had high speed rail between here and Chicago, we’d be the Far West Suburbs. Get on a train and be downtown Chi in 45 minutes? Property values through the roof.

Tell me that wouldn’t be popular overnight.

I think your ideas are constrained by stubbornness.
