That $10k could have bought more supplies/equipment somewhere. The degre of which could have been greatly expanded had those “women’s charities” been combined with other “tax write offs.” Woke companies, along with woke individuals, are real and are ruining this country.

I’m not sure how UPS chooses to donate. But they didn’t donate to a fight for our abortion charity group, they donated to a Dominican(I thought Haitian for some reason) women’s charity group that later collaborated with a straight up abortion group, like a lot of women’s groups tend to do.
I know for a fact UPS also supports Republican candidates, they paraded one of their senators around our center in some sick power move flex over us lol. I don’t know why else they would have a Republican come in to say they love big brown to a bunch of Union guys.

If they are tossing stacks of cash to groups without knowing exactly what those groups are involved with then that’s more reason to stop.

Unless support for candidates is because they support changes/improvements in laws that benefit the industry (UPS and FedEx support lobbyists in that manner every year) or UPS specifically (example: get rid of RLA for FedEx) then they shouldn’t be giving them money.

And “democrat” support of unions has been mostly lip service for a while now. In fact, support for unions is usually not in their personal interests (let alone their constituent’s) since most are heavily invested in the very companies they are expected to be scrutinizing for resisting unions. Many of which are run by limousine liberals such as Jeff Bezos. Isn’t it odd that so many of these big shot liberals seem to resist unions as much as anyone else.

And 10k isn’t for a company like this when it comes to donations. That’s more like a donation of we want be seen as supportive of women and from the looks of it groups can apply for donations from the UPS foundation.

I am sure all the countries around the world now suffering from increased food and oil prices support their right as well. I would make a guess they are not flying the Ukrainian flag as some are in this country.

I know how tax write offs work. That is not the issue but that’s what you need it to be because your points have been proven wrong. That money could’ve been used for something else. Regardless of the cause.

I’ve stated that I’d rather UPS keep their money out of politics. But at least Ukraine is a noble cause. Unless you’re insane and/or stupid enough to believe that Russia actually invaded them to get rid of Nazis.

NATO has been on their borders essentially since the end of WW2. NATO was only formed to discourage the Soviets from invading those countries. NATO has never expanded through invasion. Russia, both during the existence of Warsaw Pact and after, has. But never into a NATO country.

This “special military operation” is nothing more than Putin trying to reconquer some of what was lost when the USSR collapsed before he dies. They have no legitimate reason to Ukraine. Or Moldova which may be next.
