Trump poses with beans and other Goya products amid the "boycott"
Washington, Jul 15 (EFE) .- The US president, Donald Trump, joined this Wednesday in the controversy in the US by promoting the Hispanic food brand Goya Foods, amid the boycott launched by the community Latina against that company after its CEO, Robert Unanue, praised the ruler's leadership.
In a show of support for the company, Trump published a photo of himself at the White House on the social network Instagram on Wednesday, smiling and with various products of the brand, including beans.
"If it's Trump, he has to be corrupt," Ocasio-Cortez also Tweeted on social media.
The words of Unanue, who has already said that he has no intention of apologizing, has agitated the Latino community, its main consumer base, and which Trump has harassed on more than one occasion with his aggressive rhetoric and through his immigration policy. .
