Guaranteed Minimum - Ambush

My station is making us sit around on the clock until we have 3.5 hours worked. If you leave earlier then 3.5 hours your guarantee is cancelled. So basically sit on the clock for an hour each night. Is this being done anywhere else?

Because no one is going to work consistently for 10 to 12 hours a day and do the job correctly and be on time, so they guarantee 17.5, hence 13 years with the company under those rules, now they want to take that away after you have set your workday and family life around that schedule.

Such is life....especially at FedEx. Things are always changing. Fortunately you’ve lasted that long with things staying the same.

You're lucky. At my old station they told handlers that after the morning sort, they’d have to come back for the PM sort or waive their minimums.

Oh no! You have to sit at work for an extra hour, and get paid while doing so. Poor snowflake is melting.
