Try the US Military.

Peace.

If you want to argue that the military sending this kid to some hell hole created this monster I'll back you up. Scrambled his brains and sent back a ticking bomb. But you're usual anti-gun BS is getting old. Is that then problem, menopause giving you these hot flashes of anger?

Could you post those actual apologies? I've heard it's a fiction told by the right, but I'm willing to be shown differently.

Even Japan thought this one was wrong....."In September 2009, US Ambassador to Japan John Roos reported to the Obama administration that the Japanese government did not think it was a good idea for President Obama to visit Hiroshima to apologize for the US having dropped an atomic bomb on that city, a secret cable published by Wikileaks revealed."

"President Barack Obama has offered an apology for the Bush era, declaring that America had “shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” towards its allies."

"President Obama said the US had “failed to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world”.

His speech in Strasbourg went further than any United States president in history in criticising his own country’s action while standing on foreign soil."

The president chose Arab television, Al Arabiya, to give his first sit-down interview. He took the opportunity to confirm the long-held Arab view that the real problem is America, and President Obama apologized on our behalf.

“… America was not born as a colonial power,” he told the Arab viewing audience – implying we are now. And he regretfully confessed, “We sometimes make mistakes. We are not perfect."

[h=2]SEAL Sniper Officially The Deadliest In U.S. History: 160 Confirmed Kills…[/h]
During his 10-year career as a member of SEAL Team 3, Kyle, 37, saw action in every major battle during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He became known among his fellow SEALS as “The Legend.”
“After the first kill, the others come easy. I don’t have to psych myself up, or do anything mentally — I look through the scope, get the target in the cross hairs and kill my enemy before he kills one of my people,” Kyle writes in his new autobiography, “American Sniper.”

Perfect example of what I suspected. Wikileaks post specifically stated that both administrations saw an apology as a nonstarter. That means it ain't gonna happen. WND simply spins words into what it wants to percieve as apologies. There is nothing wrong with admitting our mistakes. Not the same as an apology. Simply clearing the past for a more productive diplomatic future. Or is that too nuanced for you?

Teen Mom Shoots Intruder

...while on phone with 911 operator. Thank God she had a gun, the police would have got there in time to draw the chalk outline around her and her baby's bodies.

Yeah, my brother and I were watching the 911 call on the news earlier.
We were both amazed how the 911 opererator handled that call.
Would have never been the case here up north ! But, I must admit, it was the right call to make (operator), and too bad she probably would have been fired here for saying what she did.

What is sad about this case is the city of Chicago and its corrupt government officials are going to try to make a felon out of a man who made a simple mistake. I know a lot of people here are from that area, but the biggest problem Illinois has is the city of Chicago. If it weren't for that cesspool of corruption it would be a lot more like its neighboring states.

On a better note...

The Kroger worker who shot that scumbag robber in that news article I posted earlier in this thread will not face prosecution. I expected this to happen, and it will be interesting if he gets to keep his job.

All she said was "do what you have to do to protect your baby." They don''t think that way up north???
