Yes thank you... since I am single now I have been getting a lot more physical workouts than I have...

guess that was on my mind.. you know men think about one thing... ;)

who recalls that song "Let's get physical"..... Olivia Newton John I think...

Life is good.... I have "time" to get physical tonight since I'm off on Mondays. Nite all be safe.

I feel you but we are all still here for a reason. We don't have the teamster pension or the gig our pilots have. (if our pilots go union we can't afford it) If Obummer and his followers weren't too busy shoving Obama Care up our purple rectum we might have a different attitude. Our deductibles went up and coverage went down to pay for all the slackers who have yet to sign the dotted line for AHCA. Yea... CHRISTmas Eve present to We the People if memory serves..and it does because I won a $50.00 bet. (they won't bring it to the floor unless they have the votes) Politicians at "work"

Now here comes the TRUTH. I will be here 24 years next month and still have 18 TEAM PLAYERS who have more seniority than I do. If we had gotten a vote in 2008 for us old timers it really would NOT have changed the game. (notice how the UPS contracts have been downgraded)

If is was such a :censored2:ty and job we don't love it in some way. Why are we still around around to "clog" up the vacation schedule. ;) I didn't get all the days off I wanted but I came close... like horseshoes and a hand grenade close is good enough given my age and time served.

I was the last employee at TRI that was fired and got his job back. You asked me about that one time if I recall....

to be continued. I won't ask you for a dollar but a phone call or two. Time is money and the hour break SUCKS.

Night all .....sleep tight.

You do know our pilots are ALPA, right? Please tell me how we can't afford to go union. I know you GOP fellows think all unions are from Satan, but the pilots and Fred & Friends do extremely well, while we just get by.

I only wish we had single payer, which could actually happen after Trump goes down in flames and the Dems have several Supreme Court picks.

Just make sure you exercise your opposite hand too, or else you'll be lop-sided.

That was my point... all the gnashing of teeth when the pilots did their thing. "The sky is falling". I asked the director at the time at a meeting in our break room "How did that happen?" I thought we were under the railroad act. His answer... "They got all of them". He has long since retired and took one of the buyouts, but I would have felt cheated if I didn't at least ask the question.

Our pilots are still flying and FedEx is still making money.

I think Trump might just surprise everyone. All the "experts" said he would be done months ago and he proved them wrong.

I like him because he is not a career politician and both parties hate him... he must be doing something right.

Truth be told he has created thousands of jobs, MANY of them union jobs on his buildings I'm sure. Then we look at all the accomplishments of the "also rans".

We all are aware of our "no call, no show" policy. I had to institute a "call before you show" policy poolside....... it's a bit tricky when two hotties show up at the same time. But a good time was had by all.

Be safe, back in the truck on Tuesday.

I had a very bad 2 years but doing much better now than I have ever done. Freedom is never FREE......... :its_all_good:

Thank you... it was a rough go for a while.... what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I got "cheated" and taken off the ballot for sheriff two years ago. Adapt, improvise and overcome to get the mission done.

Either way I'm good the truck will be there in 2 years or 4 years... I know several of my team mates will vote for me. 6 weeks of vacation will be open and several of them want my route. It's all good either way. Thank you. JP in 10-E-C

Just curious. You're very open about identifying yourself, and now we can even see what you look like and your red USMC hat. Obviously, you're a Republican. And if you get elected, you have to quit FedEx, right? Doesn't that mean you start over as a new hire from Square One when your term ends?

Glad things are going better for you. My guess is that your Democratic opponents have zero chance in your location.

We must always hedge our bets. As a member on this forum pointed out several years ago I reside in North East Tennessee. Red Republican 1st Congressional district. There are no Democratic opponents in the general election. The primary is the election.

I have the best job in the world most days. When I leave my route, I will leave FedEx. Not holding my breath on the Senate seat, but in a 4 way race with two politicians running anything can happen. The ONLY reason I'm running is to be vocal about the "law" that was passed in 2013 that took a right away from We the People to vote for a candidate for a Constitutionally elected office by a special interest group. (Tn sheriff's association).

I'm not soliciting donations, a 10 year state representative running for Senate has a $120,000 war chest and those figures are difficult to overcome. There is an air of anti establishment "throw the bums out" in the wind this year.

Spoke to a group last night and was straight up with them. Started my speech with "I am running for state senate because we need a new sheriff in the county and I am a firm believer of term limits. I can accomplish 3 things in 2 years, resign and run for sheriff in 2018".

I also pointed out that Tennessee is an agriculture state and 26 states have some kind of Medical marijuana. The VA had just decided to treat PTSD with this "medicine" Our farmers are idle and we could make millions while bringing green jobs  back to 10-E-C. We are losing more veterans to suicide than we did in out last two wars combined. It was an older group of voters but I got more of a warm reaction to that statement than I thought I would receive. I followed it up with "we are all adults here and we know no one in Tennessee smokes weed". After all it's our 2nd largest cash crop but we are missing the tax dollars.

Time will tell. Win, lose or draw I'm having fun with this at the truck will be there in 2 or 4 years if I strike out again....but I will never quit. If Hillary goes in you won't be able to buy a gun. It's all good. Be safe on the road today. It's gonna rain here through Saturday. No swimming the next couple of days for me.

Happy Sunday. Beautiful day in East 10-E-C. The sun is shining and the birds are singing. This pic is for Mr Wolf who passed 4 weeks ago. One of the best dogs I ever had. I miss him but don't miss feeding before and after work, worrying about him being too hot or cold and rushing home to take care of the old man. Happy trails Mr Wolf.

Friday night. I hope you all arrived safe and sound. NEVER trade safety for an hour break. (Especially when other locations get a pass). If I did a 360 in the 4x4 I would be off a cliff and it would take them 26 hours 3 minutes to find me. John in the wilderness. It is what it is. Safety above all.

I never did get that security gig... got taken off the ballot for Sheriff 2 years ago. State Senator sounds about right. You think Uncle Fred has a PAC and can help a brother out.

Now before you get your thong in a wad... I'm just kidding. The only money I have asked for is from the NRA. Stand and die time. Night kids... enjoy your weekend.

You need to be in a position to help Fred before he helps you. Just ask Sen. Corker, who belongs to Fred as far as I can see.

Did you ever notice something about today's so called " conservatives" or "libertarians"? They are constantly bashing the liberals and progressives but they are always the first people you see standing in line signing up for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid when they are in a nursing home and their money's all gone. And don't forget the ACA where some of the highest participation rates are found in the southern states. Then too they are right there for unemployment compensation, food stamps, reduced school lunches etc, etc, and do so without ever realizing that these programs which have and will continue to keep many "conservatives" and " libertarians" from starving to death would not exist today if it were not for determined efforts on the part of liberals and progressives to get them passed into law. Today it is quite easy to talk the conservative/libertarian talk but walking the walk is quite different if you don't have sufficient amounts of personal wealth. As for gun nuts like Sniper, I support the Second Amendment but unlike so many other gun nuts I don't need my guns to give me the sense of empowerment they depend on as substitute for their own lack of achievement .

I like Sniper, even though I totally disagree with him. You're right about conservitards being the first in line for handouts, which are OK because they are the recipients. Education, poverty and social programs? CUT those Socialist handouts!

Guns? I don't get the obsession with the Second Amendment and the love of weapons.

Thank you for sharing. I NEVER cared about machine guns until May 19,1986 when my beloved Ronald Reagan banned them with a stroke of a pen. That got my attention. Much like land they don't make them any more. Price a M16A2 or Colt python on gunbroker. Guns fall into 2 classes. Those that are used for protection and in my case... those that I buy, put in the safe and when I retire and sell them I can do what I want. It's a joy owning the Hi Powers, Colts, and crap they don't make anymore.

Like you all we are so busy working I don't even have time to go shoot or enjoy them. Much better than a 401k or CD. Liquid money.

Now on Obama Care I have asked over 100 people here in economically challenged East 10-E-C and I have yet to fine ONE SINGLE PERSON who signed up for the insurance.

We are going to a one payer system and this is just the first step. We see how it has effected us through our premiums and out of pocket.

I can't even afford insurance on the shop. I have had 4 Angles sitting on the corners for 8 years now... but I'm just about over that. Never turn your hobby into your job.

On a positive side it the weekend and I'm chilling by the pool with 90 degree weather. I do love my job most days.....but the hour break really SUCKS for the extended routes.

Like America we can agree to disagree but we are in the same boat together.

Happy weekend. Attitude is everything.

I am running for State Senate and I will lose, but I am making a political point and "they" can't take Blevins off the ballot this time. 2018 is just around the corner.

Have a great weekend and if your ever near the Tri Cities look me up. I'm easy to find.

I'll bet reason so many didn't sign up was because they were already on medical assistance and had been there for years.
