That's what freedom is all about. Get the government out of housing, save and put down 20 percent.
whats 20% of 750,000? 140,000

this is going rate for 1 br

used to be 10% of that to buy one outright.

industry will leave for other cheaper countries at prices like these

i heard alot of critique of obama from yall, and yet when i looked it up and listened they called him deporter in chief
Many of whom turned right around and came back in. Biden is on video talking about he'd like to see an endless stream of immigration. He's not Obama. The irony is the Democrats thought they could import millions and eventually make them citizens, tilting elections permanently in their favor. But the Hispanics who are already citizens and mostly Democrat are alarmed at the flood of new arrivals, overwhelming their towns and greatly increasing crime. They're turning Republican because this issue and inflation ate hitting them hard. And they tend to be socially conservative Christians. This is the beauty of the American system. If the party in power isn't performing well they can be voted out every 2-4 years.

by raising cost of housing you are raising cost of doing business, allowing any country that keeps its cost of housing low to out compete you.

its junk economics
Any area of the world where they have a strong economy with available jobs they also have more expensive housing. The demand to live in that area drives prices up.

buddy the american political system is the matrix:

it appears you have more than 1 choice, but the 2 parties are the same.

btw most western countries have more than 2 parties at the debates. its not a duopoly.

you'd be crazy or misled to vote either of them in this day and age

So keep the government out and the market takes care of that. People move.

to another country?

market fundamentalism is like civilization progress fundamentalism.
Companies move too unless government get involved. How better off would someone be in South Carolina vs dumpy Seattle?

You're getting away from what we're discussing. This country can't continue to absorb millions of people annually. And we have laws concerning immigration that the Biden administration is breaking. It's not going to end well. And we go with the system we have, not the anarchy you want.
