The irony is the Democrats thought they could import millions and eventually make them citizens, tilting elections permanently in their favor. But the Hispanics who are already citizens and mostly Democrat are alarmed at the flood of new arrivals, overwhelming their towns and greatly increasing crime. They're turning Republican because this issue and inflation ate hitting them hard. And they tend to be socially conservative Christians. This is the beauty of the American system. If the party in power isn't performing well they can be voted out every 2-4 years.
