Capitalism is mostly Short term and will crash
Free market capitalism is the most humane economic system known to man that has raised many countries out of poverty and saved many lives. If by short term you mean hundreds to thousands of years from now in your communist sci-fi imaginary land of late stage capitalism due to technological advancements then yeah it is kind of short term.

Feel free to respond but don’t expect me to care again.

Hoover dam looking dry these days. 20 years ago it was full. Where will it be in another 2o?

I give capitalism 50 to 100 years. It was born and will die like other systems.

Standards of living improved under slavery. But that's not justification for it.

Minority groups always 1 of top targets to deflect blame from capitalists.

Senator credit card is not a Lefty.

I would guess most socialists are not pro war. And most liberals probably are

Not all lefties are socialists, but they are all totalitarian, the socialists may just mistakenly believe socialism can work and not immediately lead to complete dictatorship. Socialists who think people can self-govern are simply collectivist anarchists

What about foreign investors and companies like black rock?
I think market demand is being driven by more than just people needing a home.

That may be, but rich :censored2:s need people to work in the service industries where they live, otherwise the area becomes unlivable. Once that happens, demand dries up.

My solution is to not buy a house or rent in an area you can't afford. The market will adjust accordingly.
Why would you want to settle for less bc of a broken system? It was affordable 1 or 2 generations ago.

I doubt there's anywhere in Canada where you can buy a 1 br condo big living room w a view for 75000.

Lefties are likely pro democracy. Right wing supports concentrated economic power like capitalism.

This kind of non sense worries the most when dealing with companies like black rock, that in my uneducated opinion are making stupid investments into a housing bubble bound to crash once no one can afford to live in certain areas due to low wages, inflation and rising demand created by these companies and investors..
If I’m getting conspiratorial about it, the government leftists like companies like black rock because it gives them even more power and talking points to regulate us out of ever owning private property owned by them.

Demand is drying up bc ppl spend their incomes on housing.

In London they take the train in for the work week, rent is unaffordable

I view :censored2: like black rock and certain corporations as back doors for authoritarianism that can do what the government can’t when it comes to individual rights like private property, freedom of speech, etc etc.

Hoover dam was a New Deal program. The water from the Colorado has been over promised and over diverted. Droughts happen naturally, even if climate alarmists think cow farts cause them.

That's what Marx thought too.

Standards of living improved under slavery. But that's not justification for it.
And slavery didn't end until we created technology that made it unnecessary.

Minority groups always 1 of top targets to deflect blame from capitalists.
Division and agitation over class, race, gender, any intersectional aspect of society, to create resentment and destabilize a society in order to attempt to bring about delusional Marxist ideals of a workers paradise always work out worse for minorities and workers than capitalism has.

Most of our government is leftists, imo. Some people misunderstand what the deep state means with all that Qanon nonsense.
The deep state is the unelected beaurcrats and government workers who tend to go left. Leftists are more attracted to working in government than right wingers.
When right winger hold higher office they are having to fight harder than left wing regimes because most of our government is against them and disagrees with their politics.
They will face more leaks, more scandal, more idiot anonymous source article ran first page that turn out to be nothing burgers.

Bill Clinton's track record is NAFTA, deregulating wall st and media, defunding welfare, expanding prison pop. Not left wing.

Obama tried to pass tpp, bailed out wall st, foreclosed on main St, used espionage act more than all other presidents combined, did nothing about nsa spying, shut down occupy wall st, did austerity after the bailout, and started 5 wars

This is not left wing.
