How common is it for management personnel to get fired?

So we all know UPS is constantly looking for any reason to fire union employees but what about management? Do they carry the same attitude towards their management personnel?

UPS likes to transfer bad management around ---like the Catholics do with their child molesting bunch. More than once I heard so and so got fired only to have him pop up at a center a hundred miles away.

Manager was banging two employees. One was leaving while another was coming. Destroyed his stuff, was arrested. Manager was not fired but moved. One of them became a pt sup. Manager was banging an employee, created a job for her where she did nothing. Only worked 20 hours a week, he allowed her to claim 40 hours a week. Took vacations together. He was moved to another building then became a different manager. The girl had to actually come to work, she didnt loose her job either. Manager lied about numbers out on road over allowed and something else. Fired. Manager lied about accidents demoted to inside manager, was with company forever. Manager moved around everywhere, got together with a driver who hit a mailbox to replace it with homeowner to make sure it never was an accident. Group of drivers wrote a letter, he was demoted from center manager to Ors. Was with the company a long time. center manager told pt sups they would never advance as long as he was there. Among other things of just being a mean person. Was moved out of state once before for calling a driver the n word. Pt sups wrote letter about what he said ups forced him to retire or was going to fire him. One pt sup quit another went on to be an ors. Anyone can keep their job if the people deciding such a thing wants them to.

PT sup was married and always hitting on female loaders. It went on for years and he wasn’t too crude so I didn’t think much of it.

One day he forced one of these girls to a load spot she didn’t want, basically forced her off his belt and she was mad. Something happened I probably don’t know about as it struck me as odd for him to do that.

She got a couple girls to sign a letter about how they felt sexually harassed. They moved him to a temporary peak-only terminal and once it closed in January his job went with it.

I had a weird feeling about it as he wasn’t that bad in my opinion but there were probably things I didn’t see.

He’s a driver at Fed Ex now.

Imagine what his wife must be like, if female preloaders were his speed...
I swear. He knows they die if exposed to direct sunlight outside of the center, right?

A supervisor in a different bldg in my county:
Shows up to work drunk---fired---gets his job back---shaves employee hours---fired---gets his job back with promotion and transferred to us be our center manager---dates a subordinate, they have a falling out, she claims harassment and his weiner pics he sent to her are discovered:scared:---demoted and transferred to another center 1 1/2 hrs away for 3-4 months---transferred to a newly built bldg and promoted back to center manager. How do you pull this off without being a union member?

Like I said. As bad as some of these slugs are, UPS doesn't want them crossing over to the other side

All UPS does is transfer problem supervisor/managers.
I work in the building that they are sent to as punishment.

One manager was busted for making obscene phone calls to drivers wives just after start time when caller ID came out.

We got him, he was then promoted to division manager in Miami then was busted back to on road after faking trailers as unloaded that were still full.

Another supervisor was sent to us because he couldn't keep his hands off the female employees in another center.

And so on and so on for over 30 years.....

What bldg do you work at? I would love to know who that former Miami division manager is (it may be before my time though). If you don't want to answer that's no problem.

There was a time when I was in PC that they had some kind of contest that they gave away prizes. I believe it was the most sales leads or something. One of the gifts was an autographed Astros baseball. It mysteriously disappeared from the ctr manager's desk. Come to find out he stole it for himself. He was fired and stayed fired as far as I know.
