If a air driver works preload, and then drives.....on same day after the 5 hours is that considered overtime? How exactly does it work? Thanks

YepNo way. separate job classifications.
Say an air driver there starts preload at 3:30 am and drives from 8:30-10:30 they get 2 hours of OT?
They shouldn't, you all are just wasting the company's money and should be fired
OT is anything over 8/40.If a air driver works preload, and then drives.....on same day after the 5 hours is that considered overtime? How exactly does it work? Thanks

Off-topic but In our hub, it doesn't work that way for peak. If you put your name on an 8 hour list as a part-timer, you do not receive OT after 5 hours, only after 8. But you are guaranteed 8. It's a clever way for UPS and the union to stick it to part-timers. If no one signed the list, they'd all be getting 8 hours and 3 hours OT a day, minimum.Preloader working a 12-9 during peak, gets 4 hours OT as you are classified as a PTer for that day.
Preloader working a 4-9 inside, then does air or helper for 4 hours will get 1 hour of OT as you are classified as a FTer for that day.
And if you pull enough FT days in 90 days (though they'll never let you) you become a FTer.
