Weird. I've been on this board for like 6 years and have never heard this before. All of our buildings in my district is one center.

I assume this center labeling is just because there's too many drivers in the particular building to be managed and dispatched by one team. Nothing like that up here.

"Packageville" LOL, was that a joke? Our centers are just named after the city/town.
there are many buildings in our district with multiple centers.

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
I'm on deck this weekend. Wife is going to a casino to hang out with the lesbians that are in town from Boston. So me and my son will hit the bar tomorrow morning for the Cubs/Padres game and probably hit the beach after.

You?
We were going to head up to St. Louis to go to the zoo and watch a friends kid play baseball.

Forecast 95 and high humidity all weekend. So I ain’t doing :censored2: besides mowing outside. Good chance I get Monday off and forecast in the 70’s then so hoping to do our fun stuff then

Honestly packageville wasn't trying to be funny or a joke. Just knew centers are named after areas.

Don't know but I believe centers are made to calculate numbers and their stupid metrics easier. It probably also weeds out bad areas/problems easier.

Perhaps in some areas, buildings are so big because they cover large areas. In MA, our centers are about 20 miles from each other. Our further routes from my center are 15 miles away.

And also easier to hold individual managers and or superiors responsible for their group or groups performance. You think all these metrics are just to hold Union members accountable? They are there to hold entry level managers and supervisors accountable.

That must be why each building is a center then. We cover a larger area in most buildings. That's interesting.

Oh no. I know this company doesn't care about their center staff as much as they don't care about us.

I believe upper management knows who does the heavy lifting in this company. Which is why they agree to pay us what we make. Unfortunately they also need entry level management to enforce their latest flavor of the week.
