I still don't like Christmas after 6 years of retirement.

I have worked 43, I despise the holiday with a passion. The materialism and this job have ruined it for me. I hope that one day it will be enjoyable again.

After I did my 38 years, It took me a year or two, but I really get into the season now. I grow my beard out, I look like santa. I do most of the shopping, wrap 90% of the gifts and really decorate the house now. It gets better every year.

It's not a total fix for the entire season but just take off on Christmas Eve. It's bliss not being there.

Not once have I had 300 stops. Thank god. 210 is my lifetime high. My first yr. Never even close since then. Last 15. 170 is 11pm now. This x mas was home at 7 pm. Never hit 160. Only had 1/4 of my normal route.

I agree. You can only make it stressful on yourself. I just empty one shelf at a time. First 3 hrs can suck. But it will empty
