Covering a heavy industrial box truck route, with about 10k lbs deliveries plus another 10k lbs pickups. Tools, tires, machine parts, books, home goods type junk... 20k lbs per day is grueling.

Just curious, been thinking of this ? for awhile. Has anyone ever calculated how much we lift in one day???????
I had one stop today, 130 40 pd pkgs, thats like, (oh where is my calculator) pds??? Its a lot I know. What is the gross weight limit for trucks? It was my 11th of 110 stops, Im beat.

I had a "nut and bolt" route with several

bolt suppliers and heavy industrial type

Stuff. They had to put reinforced

shelving and a new floor in my P1000.

I picked up about 2500lbs at one stop

everyday. Did this same route 15 years.

About how many pounds of pressure it takes to push in the tractor/trailer air supply.

I hope you requested help with every over 70lb package. Safety first right?

Throwing then loading irregs, then sorting and throwing 500 or so 50 pound bags from small sort. Minimum of moving 50,000 pounds a day. Tennessee Earnie Ford would have stfu.
It's the job we signed up for.
I bitch while I'm doing it, but, end of day, we stick with it.

You guys should try stacking a full semi load of oak lumber everyday. 48-50,000 lbs by yourself.
