I think they turned their head the other way on this one. They make the job harder than it is all that tinkering and changing things that work.
I wouldnt do It. why would a helper want to beat up his personal car? For 20 bucks a week,gas money.

Peak will be a hurricane or a tornado as usual and the only breeze we are gonna get is when you take one of your 7 weeks vacation.

We did this only for 3 weeks in October due to the fact that the street helpers had to be used or crammed down our throats.

Ups may turn their head until...something happens. The helper gets into an accident in his car while on the clock and delivering. How much do you wanna bet management claims they knew nothing...and tries to hold the driver responsible for allowing it??

Nothing been said or done except the usage of golf carts (joke) and the appearance of a semi-retired corporate person they used last year as a helper coordinator who gave me exactly 11 helpers last year. Had a lot of bus drop offs that year. Fun times .
