Normally you follow your work. In this case being a cover guy you'll go wherever they need you, possibly on the routes you already know so they have less training to do.

That's a cover driver. Unassigned full time means you are not assigned to a route and cover other people's routes. You're a full time cover driver--not a TCD (temporary cover driver) and there's nothing wrong with that. I'm considering taking a bid to go back to cover myself lol.
