Factory installed remote starts are junk. Good for maybe 300 feet max. The last aftermarket I had installed was good for 3,000 feet. I could start my truck from any bar in town.

No burnouts--just keeping thing lube up and moving during the winter. My shop is heated all winter and I like to fire up anything with a gas engine at least once or twice a month.
Burnouts are cool to watch somebody else do. I work too hard for that rubber that only lasts 2 seasons as it is.

Viper makes a remote car starter that is used with your iPhone/Android and you can start your car or unlock the doors from anywhere in the world. I wish I had one.
