north americans for sure, and probably some of the other western countries were too lazy to hold their economic system or govt accountable, and here we are again a full blown meltdown. this is what happens when you pretend like you are a good citizen by working every day and making babies.

civilizations also collapse very quickly, but thats still to come if we carry on as we have been.

these are revolutionary times. if people are suffering, they may get organized. or the govt may use the crisis to take away whatever democracy is left.

so with the corona virus theres been quite alot of coverage about hoarding of consumer products, and profiteering.

what i dont understand is the lack of coverage of normalized inequality (3 men in america have 40% of the wealth, top 10% owns 90% of all stocks, etc) and normalized profiteering.

there needs to be protests.

efficiency is having just enough resources before a pandemic. but when a pandemic starts of course you wont have enough:

corrupt govt wont stop a depression.

2008 recession suffering was preventable: they could've fixed the infrastructure, done cultural programs like in great depression, and green new deal. but they let everyone suffer instead:
