I urge a massive Call Out on Monday 30 December

KOG72

I’m full of it
I have to admit, I have drank more in the last two days than I have all year. A customer gave me a bottle of some revered Wyoming Koltiska KO 90 liqueur as a gift this year and I must say, it really is smooth yet packs a punch.

Maybe the booze is affecting me.
The western version of moonshine????

Thanks for the advice pops but it is not needed, I got this.

Last time I checked, I earned the money so I can do with it as I please whenever I please. When you roll over at night and friend* me then you can worry about my hard earned money, as of right now, my wife is the only one who needs to worry about my money. I never once said that I was gambling at an Indian casino. I said that the gambling meccas around here are Deadwood, SD and Blackhawk, CO.
NOT OWNED BY NATIVES AT ALL.

I do have to gamble. I also WANT to gamble and thankfully, I live in a country where hard work and having plenty of vacation time allow me to do whatever the friend* I want. It's my money and I'm spending every penny of it while I'm alive to enjoy it. Can't take it with me and I'm not leaving anyone anything. They can fend for themselves like I did. Teaches work ethic.

This becomes a lot funnier and awesome when I picture you saying all of this to a dealer when they ask you if you want to split 8s against their face card at the blackjack table!

I've never been good at blackjack. I'd say all this, split the 8's, dealer would have h17 and stand, and I'd end up with 16 both hands. That'd would be more like how it would play out.

Then after he took my stack, I'd pull Rothstein and say, “Listen to me very carefully. There are three ways of doing things around here: the right way, the wrong way, and the way that I do it. You understand?”

Until I specifically ask for advice on how and what to spend money on, I also most certainly don't need advice on who to give it to. Honestly, I would rather gamble (if I have to) [as Rod put it] at a Native American owned casino with the possibility of getting something in return, than doling it out, to the freeloading people who are too lazy, too doped up, or too stupid to find meaningful employment who would rather collect a handout from MY HARD EARNED MONEY.

I figure spending a few bucks at an Indian casino if I chose is the least I could do since ya know, we did take their land and kick them to the curb. At least they are resourceful enough to get my money the right way and not by having their hands held out for freebies.

Yeah shut the hell up @rod

We took land that they had taken from other tribes ---it's called survival of the fittest. Been going on for thousands of years. Native Americans probably have more "freebie" opportunities available to them than any other people in American. If they would get their heads out of the liquor bottle and drug scene they could get a free pass to just about any college. If they live on the rez. (its not like the old westerns) they get free licenses plates for their vehicles, housing, meals, clothes---you name it-they can get it for free. They pay NO taxes on their land and basically don't contribute to society at all. Their mind set is "we owe them" ---does that sound familiar? Most of them get some sort of kickback/profit sharing from their casinos (who also don't pay taxes). This might not be true everywhere but I would bet it is what happens at most Indian casinos. Everyone is free to throw away their money as they see fit but if I was a gambler I would do Vegas over an Indian casino any day or buy scratch off tickets or pull tabs where the money goes to support charitable organizations at least.
