Yesterday I had 200 stops on 140-150 stop route. On Jan 3rd! More stops than I had all peak.

If I understand the issue correctly, it had nothing to do with the contract- it was a business decision on USPS side.

Similar. Busiest day during peak was 272, yesterday I had 304. Pretty big area (in relation). We were short on drivers, no PVDs. My helper actually came in tho so I was very relieved.
The real kicker are the time commits. Having to run your entire route essentially to get the commits off and start over again is a tough pill.

Pure speculation but I guess they are expecting price increases to level this volume down to a manageable range.
