Klien is your typical European socialist who thinks his **** doesn't stink. He comes on here and tells us him and his European socialism is the answer to all our problems. Little does he realize the U.S. got to be the world's only superpower not only militarily, but economically without socialized medicine, ungodly high taxes, and government intrusion into every facet of life(unfortunately this is changing for the worse). Despite the fact that most European nations have existed for atleast 4 times longer than the U.S. they are dwarfed when compared to just about every facet of our nation. All our country needs is a government who believes in the people once more, and not itself, to bring back the prosperity we enjoyed a few years ago. The individual is what makes this country great, and it is only individual freedom which can bring it back.

Let me explain it easy for you Klein...If lived in another country and it was being threatend in any way,or I was being held hostage in some strange land ,I sure as hell would want to see a U.S Naval destroyer or Battleship heading to the coastline or a few F16 fighters buzzing the joint than a few beer guzzling mounties who were lumberjacks the week before comming for my sorry ass!!!!

Let ME explain something to you and your really bazaar way of looking at reality.

1. If you were being held hostage would you REALLY want a destroyer or battleship heading your way so the terrorists KNOW your coming, kill you, then leave?

2. Look it up in any ACCURATE (not American placebo history book) and you'll find your special forces were ALL trained by Canadians. We're the ONLY country in the world that (when the special forces came out) could train them since we're the only ones with every type of climate, except jungle. We trained in winter (northern Canada - 30 to -40 which US does NOT get except in Alaska maybe), the Okanagon Valley (desert climate), Ontario (hardwood type of area), Western Canada (soft wood like pines and such)...Get your facts straight before you make a sad, sad, SAAAAAD little post in the future please. I AM proAmerican. I think you guys do a lot of good but just spewing off, 'US is best' propaganda makes you look like a UPS nazi that doesn't have a free will and only follows the lemmings off a cliff (yes, I know that is also false).

This is the definition of socialism that I found in Wikipedia:

Socialism refers to various theories of economic organization advocating public or direct worker ownership and administration of the means of production and allocation of resources, and a society characterized by equal access to resources for all individuals with a method of compensation based on the amount of labor expended.[1][2][3]

I think it would be a stretch to consider Social Security to be a form of socialism, although I guess it could be considered a method of compensation based on the amount of labor expended as you have to have 40 quarters of work credit in order to fully qualify for Social Security.

We didn't get rid of the brits? I'm glad it's only to fuel Klein, I'll try to be good and only teach history instead of trying to ram it down your throat now

We actually have to go through the governor general to get any laws passed. She works as the queens body and has to pass all laws that our parliament decides to pass. If she doesn't pass the law, it gets rejected but that hasn't been done since governor general bing was running the show almost 100 years ago.
